Jennie Melvin, co-founder of J. Melvin Premier Properties, is a second generation Realtor, with over 18 years of experience, focusing on Anne Arundel, Kent & Calvert Counties. Ms. Melvin was previously with Coldwell Banker Church Circle office in Annapolis and has a proven track record of loyal customers. This is what she has to say:
"I have lived in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, specifically the Annapolis area, all my life. In fact, I am a 4th generation "Annapolitan". I've been a realtor for almost 18 years and a mother for 13... and I LOVE IT!
Growing up, my mother was an real estate agent and I used to help her with business. I had been working in the Marine industry for 10 year, when my mom decided to retire and she asked me if I wanted to get my license and take over her business. I did, and have never looked back.
I worked for a large brokerage for the first 15 years of my career before striking out on my own. It was the best thing I ever did! It jump started my career by allowing me to freely market my listings to each one's unique needs with out my hands being tied by corporate rules and red tape.
I've seen the ups and the downs and still love what I do. From the hunt for just the right home for my buyers, to the minute to minute negotiations to get my sellers the best price! I am truly grateful for some of the life long friendships that have come out of my chosen career and really couldn't imagine doing anything else
